As we come to the end of this five-year cycle of MEPI, many of the schools are seeing the fruits of their labor and starting to think about how they can share the MEPI experience, and in particular, the results of their different evaluations, with the academic community. One way is to publish on your work. Publishing in Health Professions/Medical Education journals can present different challenges to those you might have experienced previously when publishing in your specific discipline. Novice researchers might also have questions about getting into this academic space.
In this webinar we will:
- Share some thoughts on how to select an appropriate journal
- Consider ‘what story to tell’
- Identify key issues related to writing in the Med Ed space
- Explore some of the reasons why papers get accepted or rejected
