"As computers and the internet become essential educational tools, the technologies become more portable, affordable, effective and easy to use. So, this study addresses a tentative list of components of m-learning, and by emphasizing the need for the use of mobile learning (m-learning) and mobile handheld IT devices available today, then compares the devices currently on offer, such as Personal Digital Assistant (PDAs), Mobile Phones, Laptops and Tablet PCs, in teaching and learning. Also the study lists the benefits that the technology could bring to education, explains the accessibility issues and suggests the model components of m-learning and offer the solutions for distribution course content to the mobile devices. The proposed model consists of three-layers architecture, these layers are a mobile devices layer, a course content layer for knowledge management and knowledge-transfer processes, and a content publishing layer to students."
