"The presidents of the Australian, British, Canadian, New Zealand, and South African Orthopaedic Associations join those of the American Orthopaedic Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons to form the Carousel Presidents organization. More than simply sharing English as their principal language of medical communication, the respective associations share common challenges and learn relevant solutions that are applicable to orthopaedic practice and education around the globe. One such endeavor that shares commonality across the continents is trainee education and the evolving regulatory pressures that orthopaedic educators face in the regulation of trainee duty hours in the new millennium."
