Mrs. Yegomawork Gossaye is a Professional Nurse and a public Health specialist currently working as ICAP INCI Coordinator in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Her areas of specialization include nursing, reproductive health, health service management, gender and health, research, teaching methodology and organizing and conducting training and workshops. Prior to joining ICAP INCI program she has been working as an Orphan & Vulnerable Children (OVC) Specialist at USAID Ethiopia Mission. Prior to that, she workted at Family Health International as an OVC Team Leader in the HIV/AIDS Team. As a short term consultant, she had also contributed to the Pastoralist health program design in the Italian cooperation. She also worked as a Research Assistant under the Department of Community Health at Addis Ababa University. She contributed to the development and leadership of civil society organizations in her country and abroad. Mrs. Yegomawork has received many certificates and awards for her work and social contribution. Among the few to be mentioned are her contributions as Goodwill Ambassador for all Women in this Generation by Sacred International Ministry, as Chair Person on the Hospice Ethiopia Board, and as recipient of the Meritorious Award from the Department of State, United States of American. Mrs. Yegomawork is fluent in English and earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health from Addis Ababa University, Faculty of Medicine.
