Background: The MEPI/ NEPI 2016 Symposium Steering Committee is pleased to invite you to the MEPI/NEPI 2016 Symposium. The Medical and Nurses Education Partnership Initiatives (MEPI and NEPI) have joined hands to convene an African health professions education meeting this year. For the last five years, MEPI and NEPI have been implementing education reforms in medical and nursing education in a number of countries in Africa in partnership with other institutions in Africa, the USA and UK funded by the US government through PEPFAR and NIH with the aim of addressing the critical shortage of health care workers in sub-Saharan Africa. The objectives of the Symposium are to promote Health professional education, to promote linkages with health systems and other initiatives, to share experiences.

Acceptance decision timing: You will be informed whether your abstract was accepted, accepted in another format e.g. poster or rejected by 8th June, 2016.
Registration: Please be informed that all presenters must register and pay in full before the beginning of the conference. Participants should note that only registered delegates will have the abstracts published in the program booklet.
