Professor Diaa Eldin Elgaili Abubakr was a member of the MEPI CC Faculty and the SAMSS Secretariat. As his colleagues will attest, there was very little that could keep Professor Diaa out of the classroom and a smile off of his face. He remained cheerful and silent, stimulating those around him with his joy for life. His enthusiasm optimism, and caring demeanor were a constant force of encouragement for his students and inspiration among his colleagues.Professor Diaa’s passion for life and learning was a gift to everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
