Read the Blaux Heater Reviews to Decide for Yourself…

People are going crazy over this new heater, but is it any better than the other brands out there?

How do you stay warm at night? Unless I have someone to cuddle me while I sleep, I’ll usually opt for a thick blanket or even a hot water bottle. And although it does the trick for my body, it doesn’t warm up the rest of my apartment. I’ve considered investing in an electric heater and someone recommended the Blaux Heater plug in personal heater. But after doing a bit of research, I was starting to have doubts. Could this be a Blaux Heater scam?

Did you know not all electric heaters are safe?

According to the National Fire Protection Association, space heaters have been responsible for 79% of fatal home heating fires. And up to 6,000 people are admitted to the emergency room due to burns related to electric heaters in their homes.

Blaux Heater reviews are mostly positive, but these statistics are very alarming and raise concerns about whether I should even get an electric heater.

Is Blaux Heater worth it?

Before I make any decisions, I thought it would be wise to do my homework. Weighing out the risk and reward of owning an electric heater and if it’s right for me, my apartment and safe for my pets.

What kind of electric heaters are there?

From what I found, there are two main types of personal electric heaters, or space heaters. Infrared and convection. I’ve only heard of infrared heat used in saunas, but the idea is similar. Infrared heaters will heat up your body and not the air. This is ideal for your home because warm air rises and wastes energy. Convection heaters blow hot air, along with dust, and can dry out the surface of your skin.

Blaux Heater uses infrared heat, perfect for my small apartment (1100 sq. ft).

Here are the Blaux Heater Features:

  • Ceramic heater
  • 100% portable
  • Filter included for bacteria and germs
  • Adjustable thermostat
  • 250 sq.ft coverage
  • Stays cool to the touch
  • Indoor use for bedroom, bathroom, living room, office
  • Safety tip-over auto shut off protection
  • Overheat protection to shut off automatically
  • 350 watt heating power
  • State-of-the-art design

As mentioned above, infrared is the safer way to go with electric heaters, but as with any hot surface, it may injure you if direct contact is made. Which brings me to my other concern…

Is Blaux Heater safe?

Simply put, yes! Blaux Heater’s design protects you or your pets from making direct contact with the hot surface. There is a protective screen with small enough holes for any fingers to accidentally slide through. The unit is also cool to the touch, so you can move it around without worrying about burning yourself.

Another great feature is the auto shut off button. I often fall asleep watching TV or reading a book, so it’s good to know that the heater will turn off on its own. After all, I don’t want to become another statistic!

If the heater tips over accidentally, it will turn off immediately thanks to its built-in auto shut off lock. This way, it won’t cause any fire or damage at your home.

I purchased my own Blaux Heater and here’s what happened…

When the Blaux Heater first arrived, I wanted to test it out right away, so I set it up in my bedroom (the coldest room in my apartment). The thermostat is adjustable, so I set it somewhere in the middle and waited to see how fast it would work. The heat was instant, not too hot, and comfortable enough for me to sit in front of.

Great Portability

Leaving the heater on all night, I woke up feeling nice and toasty. The rest of my apartment was cold, but I thought my room was warm enough. As many Blaux Heater reviews say, it is also portable, so as I moved into the kitchen to start my day and make breakfast, I set the Blaux Heater up as well.

Safe for Pets

Every now and then I saw my cat linger around the heater, because cats usually like warm places, but he never got too close. But I’m confident even if he did, that he would still be safe. The front of the heater where the heat comes from is protected with a cover with small holes. There is no way my cat’s paws would ever fit through.

Blaux Heater Pros

  • Works instantly
  • Heats up body temperature if placed in the right location
  • Adjustable temperature
  • Safe for humans and pets
  • Easy to move around

Blaux Heater Cons

  • Only heats up small areas

Tips for using the Blaux Heater

Placement is everything! If you’re like me and looking for a heater to keep you warm at night, you should try placing the heater in the corner of the room, not too close to where you sleep. It could get too hot if it’s close to your face.

Make sure there’s enough air flow. As with any heater, there has to be sufficient air flow for the best results. Don’t drape anything over the heater and do not place it close to a lot of objects that could suffocate it.

Make sure to use the shut off function. I used the shut off function all the time, even if I wasn’t going anywhere. I think it’s always better to be safe than sorry. Even if it does shut off, you can always turn it back on and the heat will instantly radiate. You won’t have to wait a long time for the unit to heat up like other space heaters.

Final verdict

This heater is perfect for medium-size living spaces like mine, but if you want to heat an entire home, you should probably opt for getting 2 or 3 Blaux Portable AC. Of course, it will cost you more, but Blaux Heater is really just perfect for personal places and rooms.

Would I recommend others to buy the Blaux Heater? Definitely! It’s a great little heater and easy to store away when winter is over. It’s also more affordable than other heaters and they have a lot of amazing deals. The more heaters you buy, the greater the deals. If you have multiple rooms, I’d suggest buying at least three, that way you won’t always be moving them around. I’ll include the link to their official website here:
